Nursing and training have been part of my professional life for 35 years. I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife, having completed my Nursing at St.Vincent’s hospital, Lismore, and Midwifery at Mercy Maternity Hospital, Melbourne.

When my children were young I worked as an Agency Nurse, which I loved. It suited my stage in life, providing flexibility and good rates of pay. To my surprise and frustration however, what I found was that most nursing agencies were run by impersonal corporations with staff who had no medical background; they appeared to be more interested in the bottom line than actually providing top quality nursing care.

So I had a thought. A vision. To create a service that cared for both the patients and the nurses. Surely it was possible? And it was – is!

Today Caring for You has blossomed into one of Australia's leading Nursing Agencies providing in excess of 2,500 meticulously selected healthcare professionals to more than 350 quality locations, from five offices in three Australian states.
